How does everyone like the new placement of the drivers rear view mirror? I wasn't to thrilled to see them installed like they were in a car or truck placed in the middle of the windsheild instead of over the drivers head.

Also the overhead compartment has no camera box installed.

Are these just crappy specs our company picked out, or has everyone out there have the same thing?

I remember their rear-view mirror placement being one of the "improvements" they made. Apparently they had to do something stupid to make up for the fact that they're screwing in their warning light assemblies instead of gluing them in.

Due to the current economic condition, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

Yeah, my account was wiped out too when they updated the site. I tried the new password thing without success. I e-mailed the admin 3 times with a g-mail addy and they finally reset my account. Good luck!

If it doesn't fit, FORCE it.
If it breaks, well, it needed replacing anyway.

Baptistbusman, try updating your copy of explorer. I had the same troubles that you had and that fixed it.

Mirror Placement: If you were under 5'6" the old mirror placement had the driver craning their neck upwards & taking their eyes off of the road. The new placement places the mirror closer to the natural scan when checking your mirrors.

Camera Provision: "D300600001 DOOR-ACC W/GLS & HOLE FOR VIDEO CAMERA"
The option is available. The bus your saw simply didn't specify that option.
Why aren't you using a multiple lens digital system that can store 3 weeks worth of footage? A tape cam-corder can barely cover a day, let alone a week.

Screwed on 8-way lenses: Bulb access/replacement is still an interior operation
- Povides simpler R&R of damaged or faded lenses.
- Provides simple repair & diagnosys of water intrusion

I may not know the answer but I can usually find who does.
