Currently we are in a 94' Thomas ER. The previous person who cleaned the bus used some type of cleaner that left a nasty residue on the ceiling inside the bus. I'm guessing this residue has been there for some time.

I am trying to clean this residue off of the ceiling. I want to return the ceiling to it's original appearance or as close to that as possible.

I've tried Windex Original and Greased Lighting. Those have not worked at all. What do you recommend to get the residue off? Your help is appreciated!

Don't use greased lightening on anything painted.

I always liked using a pinesol/water mix in a bucket-- a couple old towels, one for wiping/scrubbing and one for drying to prevent streaking. Amazing how much grime and soot would come off after only a few months! I also used this Mr. Clean stuff once...it was blue I remember...worked very well.

Good luck to ya!
