Friday, December 8th, 2006 - Bayshore Broadcasting News Centre, Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada - Charges have been laid against a school bus driver in connection with a collision near Flesherton.
Grey County OPP say the bus slid off Grey Highlands Road 170 and into the ditch around 9:30 Thursday morning.
There were 23 students onboard who had to be transferred to another bus before being taken to MacPhail Memorial Elementary and Grey Highlands Secondary schools in Flesherton.
Once the students arrived at the schools administrators noticed obvious minor injuries and called police and ambulance.
A 24 year old Durham woman has been charged with careless driving, failing to drive in a marked lane and failing to remain at the scene.
She appears in Owen Sound court January 22nd.
