I just ordered a side mount antenna for my bus and I was wondering if there are any tips anyone could give me for installing it. I already know that I have to take apart side panels on the inside to bolt it in. Is there anything special that I should do to the holes I have to drill after I have the antenna in? Is there any special place that I should mount it, or can I mount it wherever I want to? (diangonally might look cool!) And any other tips you can give me are welcome.

Heres a link(it's the second antenna)

It only took two days to get here! Thanks TAC!

We have one of those style antennas on a Blue Bird Conventional. It is mounted between the driver window and the first passenger window - just like on AmTran/IC buses. Looks pretty good.
