Thursday, September 22 - Access North Georgia - Gainesville, GA -- Hall County school officials said they notified a school bus driver involved in a September 6 wreck that she would be let go from her job.
Georgia State Patrol cited Ms. Michael Braselton for speeding resulting in the wreck that injured 19 students and Braselton. The worst injuries were Braselton's broken wrist and a South Hall Middle School student's broken collar bones. Braselton was on her afternoon route when the bus tipped on its side after it hit an embankment. Braselton had rounded a curve and attempted to brake for a stopped bus, but swerved when she realized the brakes wouldn't stop a collision. Click for story |
