I have gotten the School Transportation News 2005 Fact Book in. It came in the mail last week or the week before. I haven't gotten the School Bus Fleet 2005 Fact Book in yet. I can't wait for it to come in.

How do you get a subscription to SBF Magazine? I look at the Subscribe page on the site, and all that comes up is the free subscription form.

I got mine today as well.

I'm glad to see an Ohio bus in a SBF magazine. On page 8 is Federal Hocking 6 - a 2001 Thomas International.

I noticed the 2005 STN Buyer's Guide (not the SBF publication) did not list any school bus model specs as they usually do every year (such as seating capacities, wheelbase, available powertrains, different model offerings for each manufacturer, etc.). To me, that is the heart of the Buyer's Guide and I was extremely disappointed that that information was left out of this year's publication.

Hey Bob, I was also disappointed about that deletion. I just received my SBF Fact Book today and thankfully they still have a section on all of the current bus model specs.

I got mine yesterday, 2-7-05. I got the IC BE brochure with it. I still have the air freshener that I got last year with the 2004 Fact Book. I haven't opened it up yet and I ain't going to until I buy me a bus.

That's good to know, Ted. I hope SBF continues to keep that section in their Fact Book. It is one of my favorite sections in the Fact Book.

Robert, make sure that your subscription is still current. They stopped placing those extra sheets on the maganizes that say "Urgent! Renew your subscription!" like they used to. I can imagine that going through each magazine and determining who needed to renew soon was a bit costly, but I'll admit it was a very handy service. You'll just have to keep track more closely, and thankfully, you can renew or subscribe completely online these days. Or, you could just send in that "literature request" form once a year, which automatically renews your magazines if you so indicate. It never hurts to get a bit of info from the manufacturers. Some companies will even give you a phone call.

Since I am not actively involved in the school transportation industry I have to have a paid subscription to SBF. At one time, many years ago, they were very good about notifying one if their paid subscription was running out. However, during the past several years, it's completely up to the subscriber to keep track.
Not once, but twice my subscription ran out!!
STN is great about subscription renewal notices, I don't know why SBF can't do a better job. You would think they would want my money?

Anyway, as Mike said, you might want to check your label to see if your subscription ran out. I just received my Feb. issue today.

I got mine on Friday Feb 11. I am in Canada. I noticed that IC has ads on all the pull out dividers. They certainly pulled out all the stops. I love the look of the BE in white as a commercial unit.

You will find that International/IC has been represented in the pull out divider tabs in the Fact Book over the past 4 or 5 years (at least). They must be a major "sponsor" of the publication.
