With 11R22.5 tires, 6 speed auto, 617 rear end, we get a top speed of 69. If you're comfortable giving the last 8 of the VIN, I'll look to see what I can see about yours. |

Have you check your fuel's filter if it's clogged or not? |

Ours are limited to 110km/hr. 69mph. Our province limits school buses to 90km/hr (56mph) loaded or empty. So how would I know |

Comparing LB231136 to mine, I find that we have the following differences:
I assume your bus came with tires LOL. It doesn't show it having tires, so are you 11r22.5?
I have air brakes, you have hydraulic...not sure if this causes a speed reduction to meet stopping distance requirements? It does show your GVWR is reduced due to hydraulic brakes.
I have a 2500 transmission, you have a 2550. The difference there I do not know.
Your transmission programming says it is performance but is "shift schedule limiting" which is different from mine which makes no reference to limiting.
The odd thing I see, viewing a scan the dealer did on April 12th, programming clearly states "operator- cruise control set speed 65.87" where my buses show 68 in that field. I never noticed until now that there is no reference to a maximum pedal speed, so maybe it's the same as cruise.
Assuming your transmission has the same ratios, and you have the same tire size as mine, you should be able to get 68 or 69 from the bus...you have to be programmed to the lower speed. If it's due to hydro brakes...that I don't know. |

Between the smaller tires and the 65.87 limiting, it makes sense. I tend to tell drivers when they complain that these things weren't engineered to run 80 MPH. |
