2017 Freightliner/Thomas bus 4UZABRDT0HCHR7074. How is the no child left behind feature turned off. Supervisor wants it off on 3 buses for a rodeo then back on.

I am going to sound stupid but what do I unplug? Is there a specific module? Not very familiar with Freightliner Thomas.

Im only familiar with the child checkmate systems. And I swear not a single tech at the dealers wire them the same way. (on my HDX's) Usually in the side panel, sometimes under the dash near the diag connector. Black box about 2" x 4" or so cant miss it. When im working on a bus and dont want the thing going off all the time I unplug the 6 pin connector.

If you have the factory child reminder system with the round silver reset button, the only way to disable that is with the laptop and servicelink software

We have Child Checkmate systems that we installed ourselves. You can unplug the module, it just pulls out with some wiggle and force. Or pull the main battery fuse for it. We wire them into the factory fuse blocks so it should be PDM 5, or the first box on bottom row. There's two fuses, Child alarm battery and Child alarm ignition. Pull the battery fuse. That should get you what you need.
