i am finally getting to this egr cooler job never done one this is the only bus we have with this engine so i am looking at it to change the egr cooler u have to take the turbos off will they come out as one unit or do they come off seperate this job looks like its gonna suck
1. drain coolant 2.removed cac pipe, air filter housing and bracket and pipe to turbos 3. removed the five mounting olts and remove turbos as one unit 4. removed dog house 5.removed turbo pipe( the one with actuator) 6. then egr hot pipe 7.then work at the 5 or 6 bolts in cooler and presto is off 8. of course the oil lines come off with turbos, and I usually replace all coolant pipes at the frt. of cooler and the two at the rear also 9. its a 7 hour job from start to driving it out of shop if parts are on hand your other post about this i gave you a complete parts list good luck it looks like a lot of work but its easy
