I have gotten insite for my Cummins engines . I went to hook it up 2002 Bluebird with the 5.9 . After I opened insite I used the 1708 side and it came up and said it couldn't work . But it did come up with the areas insite covers . But couldn't tell me what engine or brake system the bus had . I am using a Nexiq link 2 . Do I have the wrong connection or is the bus too old for my insite ?

J1939 for engines
INSITE will work for all cummin engines from cm550 up to now cm2350 or cm2450 whatever the newest is
at the bottom of INSITE when it first opens, at the center just choose nexiq2 or you might have to add it , don't do auto style takes a long time just input yourself and make sure you have the driver installed also for the nexiq2
what engine it is will be at the top with serial number, emission stage(cm2150,2250, blah, blah)
INSITE will not tell what brakes you have, if you are looking for engine brake it will be found in features and parameters

OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years
