I had some mixed emotions this morning as I watched the news broadcast. As a Supervisor I would never condone the actions of the school bus driver. However, I think Ashland City Schools failed its employee. For this driver to have no knowledge of this student and his special needs is concerning. Someone within the district is failing in their job. I'm not sure this child should have been put on the bus in the first place already being in melt down mode. I think the district Superintendent needs to review some policies and procedures.
