2012 Ford E450 with gas 6.8L V10. How far should we be going on oil changes?
We are losing a quart to a quart and 1/2 each oil change (on both buses, which are configured the same) is that normal? We were going ~6,500 miles on an oil change.
I'm thinking about sending them in at 4,000 miles.

In the operating manual under special operating conditions, it states that low speed and excessive idiling conditions change oil at 5000 mile intervals.
