How is the air ride suspension supposed to work on this bus. I see one rod and one control valve at the rear axle. Pushing the control rod lever up let air into the bags but pulling it down lets air out of the bags. Is this correct or is it supposed to allow for air transfer between the two bags and not out of the control valve. Help, about to spend money

It adjusts the ride height. Add more weight to the bus, the bags sag, and when it sags, it moves the rod, which lets air into the bags to compensate for the added weight. Remove the weight, and the opposite happens and it lets air out of the bags. You shouldn't be able to move it up or down much when it is connected. If you can, it may be wore out or broken.

We can't all be conventional!
