A bus with a plow and a 4x4 bus, I love it, no more snow days! (can I get one equiped with studs so we can go on the ice) And they both appear to be Thomas Built, love it! As for the Wayne vs. bear I think I'd call in with a delay, unknown as to how long we'll be behind. If I get any photos myself I'll pass 'em along. Mike
ooops, sorry, wrong bus body co. my mistake, must have gotten the Wayne off of the snowplow I'm not doin' so great here, glad there isn't school on Saturdays here, I should have said, I'd gotten the Wayne brand name off of the snowplow blade |

That looks to be a Ward Patriot, not a Wayne. The Patriot was Ward's answer to the Thomas Chevy/GMC Vista. |

Nice looking Crown Supercoach.
It looks to be a former Laidlaw-owned bus out of California. Note the slanted window post caps. I drove a similar 1982 Crown Supercoach. |

Yeah - I was really excited when I saw that Blue Bird/IHC 3300 at my "somewhat local" International dealership back in April. First and only one I've seen so far. I wish I would have taken more of it, but their yard isn't too far from me. I'll have to visit sometime. |

Yeah, that is by far the nicest BB 3300 I've ever seen. It's exactly how I would have spec'd it (appearance wise). Any idea what engine/transmission is in it? |

I just saw a repeat episode of overhaulin on TLC where they did a '56 Ford school bus for John Force. (sorry I don't know what body manufacture it was.) They took a school bus that Force had bought to fix up and use for appearances and charity events. With the help of some key people, well you know how overhaulin works. There are twenty two pictures of the bus from start to finish. I think it turned out better than great, I'd love to show up for work in that! Mike PS it is at overhaulin.com under the episode title "The Short Yellow Bus" |

My district has at least one Thomas HDX with G2 Fusion lights so they are available pretty much across the board. I'm not sure if you can get them on a Thomas C2 though. |

G2 Fusion lights can be added to any bus with standard sized warning lights.
They are not offered for the C2, but Thomas does offer LED warning lights.
As far as OEM goes, I was also under the impression that the G2 Fusions were only offered from Blue Bird and Girardin. Like I said, they can be retrofitted, I believe they only need a control unit/power pack. |
