question i have a all american that will start in all gears, I changed the neutral safty switch and did not help. any help would be great bus got red tagged. help please

If the new switch is in fact good, then what ever opens the switch to prevent starting in all but neutral is not working. Test the switch with a volt meter to see if it is working correctly on the bus then go from there. The switch should be closed in neutral and open in all all gears.

What year is the bus? Are you sure you replace the neutral safety switch and not some other switch?

AAFE or RE? My FE's have a neutral safety relay in the PDU...might check that.

2006 aafe, is the pdu panel under the dog house?

Its that rusty box under the bus, forward of the left front wheel.

found it someone added a ground using a stoch loc "junk" to the signal wire in the pdu, dont know why but removing it solved the problem thanks all for the help
