i have a 2002 ic 466 school bus there is no antifreeze in radiator it all pumped into engine block the intercooler the turbo its everywhere and alot thought it was head gasket but it looks fine cant figure out where it maybe comin from anyone had this problem
Does it have air brakes or hydraulic? For antifreeze to be in the turbo and charge air cooler I would think blown air compressor blowing it back out through the intake and dumping it out it's oil return? The 466 is known to have liner and o-ring problems. Local truck shop put a new compressor on and the truck was towed back a week later with antifreeze coming out of every where new compressor took a dump.
no this bus has hydraulic brakes but yeah there is antifreeze everywhere never seen such a mess so what ever it is its blown bad thats y i firgured the head gasket blew but when i took it apart it looked good just watched a video on the cylinder liner oring that could be it if that blew cause it sucked all the antifreeze into motor crank case
Liner rings.....they just split . I had 2 buses that did it .Take the oil pan off and pressure rise the cooling system .Then stand back it will leak like a man peeing .Don't have to touch the liners to make them leak
