This just passed. Will be retroactive to all of 2017. Which to me doesn't make sense. This "incentive" is suppose to be just that, an "incentive" to buy alternative fueled vehicles. If the incentive isn't current, is it really an incentive? Anyway, I'm not complaining, this will be a pretty good windfall for us and many other schools. If you are just getting into this, make sure you include in your bid specs a section where the supplier will take care of all the filing of paperwork to get the tax incentive (they have to do that for public bodies anyway because we don't pay taxes and they do). Our supplier gets the money from the feds and passes it through to us.

Thanks for info, I forwarded the link to the Super. We're still running on the transport load we bought last August. |
