Okay I think the district is waiting before replacing the HCU (Meritor wabco hydraulic system . I want to remove bus until then . I know it has probably been covered . How do I release the parking brake ? The front pump is the problem no pressure .

I usually cut the link between the two cables near the rear axle to allow the park brake to release, make sure you use chocks, as there won't be any other way to stop movement.
You may want to look at Dorman # 21125 for a connector that will work, it is more robust than the 'C' style from the 21126 kit.
Just a thought.

back off the park brake shoes, if you cut the link cable you will have to replace that and if you are in the salt belt sometimes you can`t get it to thread out of the actuator.
