How many of you experience problems with the decals that the manufacturer puts on? Ours never peel or anything, it's just some buses come with a lot missing. 97-43, a 1997 Thomas MVP EF, came with out numbers on one side and no emergency door decal on the rear. 00-36 and a lot of 1996's and 1995's had no rear decals. These were all forced to be replaced by the police (don't know why the state inspectors now made us do it) with clear decals that they put in the rear window. Another 1997 also had no labels over the outside of the pushouts unitl recently... Have you had any problems with this?

Since many states and districts require different specifications, different signage is required to make them meet national and/or state standards. The manufacturers do a great job of keeping things straight, for the most part. We have, however, had the following "miscues" with new buses from Thomas, International, and Bluebird; No bus number wrong bus number different bus number on each side No emergency hatch instructions No decal for back up alarm notification No/wrong instructions for emergency windows There are probably a few more, but thats all I could think of right now. Usually a phone call will secure the proper decals/signs and an apology. Joe
