I have a 2007 BB All American I installed front brakes on in Oct. 2012. They are 16.5X7 pads. When the driver backs up and tries to feather the brakes they make a hard growling. I took them back apart and it looks like the shoes are not hitting perfectly all the way around. Drums were replaced at the same time as shoes.
The S-cam shaft was a little loose so I replaced s-cam & bushings thinking this might be the problem. No difference.
Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution? Maybe the pads weren't installed properly?
Thanks,
ED
