What have you done when a student requires a safety vest, but the student is 250lbs.... and no currently available vest in the market will fit?

We had Jimmy the Seat Guy MAKE one out of seatbelt webbing, and hardware from a smaller vest.

We have used hunter harnesses. They are harnesses that hunters use when in a deer stand. You might want to check your state's code first though. When a child is that size though you are not using the harness as a safety devise only as restraignt, right?

There's a company out of Florida by the name of EZ-ON that will make special vests. You will need to fill out a form so they know what to make.

Oh yeah, I forgot they would do that. Actually that would be better, in an attorney's eyes, than what I suggested.
