That really wouldn't make sense. What would a type E be, a midship? The bus types are based on their body type (i.e., Conventional = Type C, Transit = Type D).
The biggest concern with this is how are you going to control that many kids on the bus at one time? I've seen fully loaded 66-72 passenger buses get a little rowdy, I couldn't imagine a 100+ passenger bus. You'd almost need extra monitors... I'm not even sure if having that many kids on a bus would be safe or legal.
You also have to re-evaluate evacuation plans. The more students on the bus, the longer the evacuation time would be unless you add extra exits. Plus, buses that long would be a lot harder to drive. You'd almost be turning a school bus into a double decker bus by adding that much capacity (which I doubt will happen any time soon...) |
