I have seen many independent school bus contractors from MD/DE/NJ driving their own buses for different schools with many other independent owner operators. I've always wondered how someone looking to get onto a contract and begin driving for a district, what one would have to do. Would say go to the school board and say "hey, i own such and such bus service, I wanna drive for you." or what? Any input would be appreciated.
