I just bought a 1994 international 3800 that i plan to use as a hunting bus. I would like to know if anyone knows the empty weight of the bus, not the GVRW. I am concerned about driving in open fields, that it might be too heavy and sink down in the ground if its a least bit wet. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Roughly anywhere between 7 and 8 tons depending on the size and drivetrain.

We have weighed them at grain elevators, never saw one under 6 ton and I would not be surprised to see a large, well equipped conventional bus weigh 9 ton empty.

Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
