I have a 99 T444E that will run for about 2 minutes. After it shuts off it won't crank again for hours. The codes I get from the dash lights are 111,113,145,626 and 222.Most of them I know come from running the battery low.The 145 says "CMP signal inactive while ICP has increased". Today I noticed voltage gauge wasn't moving. After a minute the hand moved up to the green just above 14v and the engine shut down. Anyone know why it would shutdown when the charging starts up? |

The voltage comes up when the glow plugs shut off. Could be unrelated. Check for poor electrical connections, especially in the area near the oil filter. |
Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback |

CHECK your GROUNDS nav is bad for poor ground circuits. take the ground wires off at batt, frame, cab, and engine and clean them well. The engine is searching for a ground path to run when the volt gauge came up the engine lost its ground path, possibly through a circuit that was just turned on. |

Won't crank after 2 minutes of running?
When it won't crank do you have a start signal to the starter solenoid?
That will give you the starting point of where you need to go. Don't worry about down stream problems right now - find out why the starter doesn't crank first. |
