Great update Robert. That 95 b800bird isa beast. Those tires remind me of 60's gmc truck and buse tires. Also mr. Zuni's 01 Frieghtliner Bird is nice.

Off Topic: What was the last year for frieghtliner birds. I was thinking somewhere between 02-04. Anyone hav an accurate number?

Do the world a favor and bring back GMC and Ford conventional chassis......

Great update. A few of those buses from PA are on my site as well. You've got the better pics of those buses though.

LOL. Maybe I'll go visit some Maryland bus dealers?

PA has some good stuff, that must be why we all flock to that state. Gotta admit, Rohrer and Wolfington are pretty cool places.

Yeah, I've been trying out different locations for photo sets also.
Midwest trasit seems to be overused for photography. I drove 2 hours to Northern Indiana's Thomas dealor and had some great results. Too bad theres no high traffic Blue Bird dealorship by me.

I second Mike's comment about that Blue Bird Ford. What a neat bus! It's not often you find a 5+2 anymore, especially in a Ford, and the neat tires topped it off. Great work!

If you think of it, please get a picture of the tail pipe of an '08 IC for us, up close and under the bumper too. I'd be interested to know what purpose that coffee can is serving back there. Thanks!

One of the simplest things is just going to different district bus yards, head starts, special-ed schools, daycares, etc. to get pictures. But I don't see what the problem is many people go to the same place - just some have to not post what they take

Ask and you shall receive. You can see the diffusers towards the back, which s u c k s in air from outside the pipe to cool down the exhaust.

Much better system than what Thomas is doing with the exhaust diffuser tip at the end of the exhaust, IMHO.

Im curious as to why some IC CEs, REs, FEs, and BEs have their tail pipes on the left, and some on the right.... is there a reason for this?

RE can only have the exhaust on the left side (through the bumper or under the side), this is because the exhaust manifold and turbo outlet is on the engine's left side, and there's not enough room to have it cross over to the right side. The other models can have it go left or right through the bumper or under the left side ahead of the rear axle. Why a district would specify left or right side exhaust, I don't know, though.

IC the future, and it is bright.

I would also spec it on the left because I wouldnt want the exhaust any where near the passenger door, not that it would make any difference if the windows were open or something.... haha
