Hi all Can any one tell me what would cause rear end lube to blow out the vent on top the level is even slightly below where need be I have a wheel seal leaking a little bit so I took out the vent It seemed clear but I cleaned it all out anyway Thats when it started blowing lube out the vent . Any ideas would be great.

Usually this will happen if the vent is plugged for some reason. Then you may see seals start to leak as pressure builds inside the axle tube. Start by draining all the old oil from the axle after you replace the leaking seals. Replace the vent then try new lube filled up to the proper level.
