I am working on a 2014 IC RE Maxxforce DT. I have 3 codes SPN 102 FMI 10 Boost slow response. SPN 1173 FMI 3 TC2CIS signal out of range high. And SPN 3936 FMI 8 Aftertreatment DPF system. I changed the IMP sensor and the old one was plugged with soot. But it made no difference. The bus will get up to 60 mph but it takes a long time to get there as there is very low power between rpm ranges. I also changed the TC2CIS sensor without any improvement. Checked for boost leaks as well. Any suggestions?
does it have the bear trap behind the turbos , is it stuck partially closed egr valve that is broke but stepper motor sill reads right but valve does nothing

Are you still having problems? BTW 1173-3 is for the temp sensor on the inlet to turbo 2. That is the top turbo. If there is a lot of soot in there you have some problems. Bluenozer is right about that valve in the exhaust pipe just downstream of the turbos being stuck. With the engine hot watch it when somebody turns the engine off. It should cycle. If it doesn't it could be stuck shut which sends Exhaust Back Pressure (EBP) sky-high and will keep the turbo from making boost. EGR valve malfunctioning will cause several problems. Most times the EGR valve DOES NOT throw a code when it is out of position. These engines are closed crankcase. If there are problems with the engine in can be breathing in too much vapor. In turn this will build up deposits on the turbo blades, adding weight and slowing them down. Buildup can occur on the hot side also. I've had them where they won't go over 1,600 RPM on the floor. Take the turbos off, block the oil feed line and suddenly you have full throttle. I can send you some info thru filesharing but the link is only good for 72 hrs. I'm not going to put anything up unless you want it.
