INDIANAPOLIS — A stun gun was found in a backpack after a school bus driver spotted the weapon on her bus, The Indianapolis Star reports.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township told the news source that the bus driver caught a glimpse of the stun gun in her rearview mirror. The driver returned to a school, where officers searched the students' possessions.

After a tip from another student, officers reportedly found the stun gun in the backpack of a 15-year-old, who was suspended pending an expulsion hearing. No one was injured in the incident.
