HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. — Two Hendersonville High School marketing students are leading Sumner County Schools' bus advertising program this year, the Gallatin News Examiner reports.
Seniors Mason Kalada and Nathan Dearman have been making sales calls and presentations to businesses about the benefits of advertising on school buses.
The program, which is supervised by their teachers and DECA Club sponsors Christy Brown and Lisa Baugh, has raised nearly $25,000 since September. All of the money from ads sold by the students will go toward enhancing classroom technology.
