WHARTON, N.J. — Students and faculty at a local school for special-needs children and young adults recently celebrated the arrival of a new school bus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, The Star-Ledger reports.
The 16-passenger bus replaces a school van that held five students; the bus will be used by students from the school's Wharton and Dover campuses for field trips and transportation to jobs.
The bus will also allow the students to participate in more community-based instruction, according to The Star-Ledger.
