ALEXANDRIA. Va. — The National School Transportation Association (NSTA) will host its annual Midwinter Meeting in Orlando, Fla., next year.
The meeting will be held Jan. 24-28, coinciding with the United Motorcoach Association’s (UMA) Motorcoach Expo.
The meeting provides delegates with an opportunity to network with industry professionals and learn about current events within the association and the school bus industry.
Attendees will be able to visit the Motorcoach Expo trade show, participate in the annual NSTA golf tournament and catch up on the latest in legislative and regulatory news.
Also, NSTA committees will meet to work on their respective projects, and the board of directors will report to delegates on association business at its quarterly meeting.
“NSTA’s Midwinter Meeting is an excellent opportunity for contractors and vendors to come together in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss the issues facing our industry and find solutions that will strengthen both the industry and the association,” said NSTA President Barry Stock of National Express Corp. “It’s particularly exciting this year, as we are co-located with the UMA Motorcoach Expo, and that will allow us to broaden our outreach to those companies who operate both motorcoaches and school buses.”
The host hotel for all of NSTA’s meetings will be the Rosen Shingle Creek, located in the heart of Orlando.
For more information, call the NSTA Central Office at (800) 222-6782.
