AMF-Bruns Announces 3rd Annual Special-Needs School Bus Driver Award

HUDSON, Ohio — Securement supplier AMF-Bruns of America is planning to honor yet another special-needs school bus driver for their standout service.

For its third annual Special-Needs School Bus Driver Of The Year Award, AMF-Bruns said it is looking for a special-needs bus driver who has distinguished themselves through “special accomplishments, meritorious and heroic acts, and innovations to improve their jobs.”

The award winner will receive a $1,000 check, according to the securement supplier.

AMF-Bruns presented its second award to Freddie Phillips, a bus driver for East Baton Rouge (La.) Parish School System, in October. Phillips was honored for his responsibilities as a driver and his role in transporting residents during Hurricane Matthew in 2016.
