PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A school bus driver here was injured after his school bus rolled over on Tuesday morning, the Tribune-Review reports.
Police Chief John Otto told the news source that at around 6:10 a.m. the Penn-Trafford School District bus was traveling toward Route 130 around a bend when the driver lost control, causing the bus to roll over off of the road.
The bus landed on its wheels when it stopped near a small ice-covered retention pond along the road, according to the Tribune-Review. Police told the news source that no students were on board.
Otto told the Tribune-Review that the driver was taken to the hospital, and that state police will conduct an inspection of the vehicle.
