HARRISONVILLE, Mo. — The city’s mayor and a school district official recently toured Durham School Services’ local transportation facility.

Throughout the tour, Mayor Brian Hasek and Harrisonville Schools Assistant Superintendent Jason Eggers saw firsthand the efforts of Durham to fulfill their mission of getting students to school safely and on time. Durham team members provided insight about the procedures in place to ensure the safety of their students, which include child checks and pre- and post-route bus inspections. Durham also highlighted their use of technology.

“My visit was very educational and informative,” Hasek said. “I was impressed with Durham’s dedication to safety. Every aspect of the tour enlightened me about all the work that goes into getting our students to school safely.”

Eggers commended the Durham team for their strong partnership with the district and community.

“We’re honored to have had the opportunity to showcase our efforts and dedication to the students of Harrisonville,” said Kevin Rhine, region manager for Durham.
