PARKVILLE, Md. — A man here faces several charges after police said he jumped onto a moving school bus on Thursday.

At about 3:15 p.m., Leverne Doran got out of his vehicle after a bottle was allegedly thrown out of the bus toward his vehicle, Baltimore County Police Sgt. Andrea Bylen told WBAL. Doran reportedly tried to board the bus, but the driver would not open the door, fearing for the safety of the students aboard. Doran then jumped onto the front of the bus and held onto it as it moved, police told The Baltimore Sun. The driver tried to drive slowly to a nearby police precinct to get help, but got stopped in traffic, the newspaper reports.

Doran is charged with counts that include disorderly conduct and obstructing a school bus driver, according to The Baltimore Sun.
