CLEVELAND — School Bus Safety Co. has recreated and expanded its Driver Training Course.

The original course, released in 2009, included 15 video programs on DVDs. The new edition has been expanded to 25 programs, plus an extensive final exam.

“This is not an update, but a complete recreation involving new improved scripts, new filming and new actors,” said Jeff Cassell, president of School Bus Safety Co.

According to the company, more than 2,500 school districts and contractors purchased the original Driver Training Course.

“Many have contacted us to ask for additional subjects or to suggest improvements,” Cassell said. “The new course includes many new subjects that are critical to provide safe transportation.”

Also, the video running time for the course (excluding discussion time) has been increased from three hours and 45 minutes to eight hours and 54 minutes.
