MERRIMACK, N.H. — A school bus driver is facing charges after her 5-year-old son, who was sitting in the driver’s seat of the bus, put it in reverse and hit a building, police told CBS Boston. No one was harmed in the incident.

On Monday, Tiffanie Brown’s son was in the driver's seat as she conducted morning safety checks at a condominium complex, and her 8-year-old son was also on the bus at the time of the incident, CBS Boston reports. Police said in a statement that as Brown directed her son though checks of the reverse and brake lights, he shifted the bus into reverse, causing it to drive backwards and into a building, according to the news outlet.

Brown is charged with child endangerment and reckless conduct, police told the news outlet.
