GARDEN CITY PARK, N.Y. — Leonard Bus Sales will soon open a new facility here to support Trans Tech Bus customers in the New York City area.

The sales and support facility is slated to open in the coming weeks, and it will create a brick-and-mortar location for any Trans Tech Bus customers in need of bus service, warranty work and parts, officials said.

“This new location will be a central, one-stop-shop for all of our customers in the area,” said Joe Wolfe, products sales manager for Trans Tech’s school and commercial buses sold and serviced by Leonard Bus Sales. “Trans Tech’s existing customers in the area will soon see the benefit of Leonard’s award-winning customer support.”

The 4,500-square foot facility is located at 202 Thorens Ave. in Garden City Park. Technicians on staff will specialize in service for Trans Tech Bus products; the staff will also include parts and sales professionals.

“We are happy to continue growing our relationship with the Leonard family in the distribution and support of our school and commercial buses,” Trans Tech President John Phraner said.  “They are a market leader when it comes to service and support, and all of our customers in the area will see that in the months ahead.”
