SALEM, Ore. — Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seeking applicants to fill an opening for assistant manager of transportation operations.

Tasks for this position include recruiting and training bus drivers, coordinating school operation activities, managing employees, interacting with parents and students, as well as investigating and resolving complaints, accidents and injuries.

Applicants must have completed two years of college (or an equivalent) and have two years of school bus operations experience. They must also possess a valid Oregon commercial driver's license and an Oregon school bus driver's certificate.

Applications must be completed and received by Oct. 5, 2007.
