2007 int school bus ent door will not close switch is on steering wheelwill open but will not close sometimes works but not all the time

clock spring under steering wheel or the switch pack itself on wheel

OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years

You might also check the backside of the emergency door release toggle switch where the wires go in the switch housing.

If it will open by switch sounds like wire broke at air cylinder overhead of door.

Check the door relay inside the electrical panel. They get worn out and stick, which will cause this issue.

Entrance door breaks and cracks are generally the result of a force applied to the doors. Improper adjustment, loose attachment bolts, or an obstruction limiting door travel are the most common.
