What's a normal safe operation temp on a 1994 all mechanical DT466 with the split rad and intercooler. I am seeing temps at 200 pulling a hill on a 90 degree day.

Going down the highway it will stay around 190. Is 210 too hot for that engine.

I never got twitchy til the 466 started to flirt with 215 degrees, and even then never lost one to that. I feel like we used to put 195 degree thermostats in them, but it's been a day or two since those days.

not sure where you are at, but make sure to keep the 1/2 rad blown out. On mine, during the AZ summers, I had to blow them out every month to get the bugs out and keep the temps reasonable.
