As of today, the governor of Ohio has ordered all non-essential businesses to shut down. How many school bus mechanics in Ohio are still going to work?

My guys are working on a daily rotation. We had inspections scheduled this week but I'm not sure if they've been cancelled again or not.

We are still working daily. We only have a quarter of the fleet that has already passed inspection so we are trying to get all that we can ready because I believe when the inspections resume they will want to do as many as possible. Also finding large problems like radiator and fuel tank leaks and trying to catch up on body work. They are also running vans for meals and school work. Hope everyone is doing well.

I was informed Friday that troopers are looking for something to do and will be doing inspections if permitted. Seems odd that they will do them but not let inspection teams work.

Tech here are paid full time and we only have to keep up on inspections and brake inspections so about two weeks of work per month

OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years

Most of us stay at home, try to follow up this week if possible at least once.
