I am the Mechanic here and my trans director just got back from the IL pupil transportation seminar. He tells me there is new training laws coming Feb. I had heard a while back they where changing things. Anyone have any good info on this? I read some today but of course was mainly for trucks and truck driving schools....
This is a decent overview. I was at IAPT as well. The guy that was supposed to present from the Federal DOT got sick and they sent a guy to replace him. He did ok but there were still lots of questions that went unanswered. I have been studying CFR49 380 but it is pretty vague. We are having a meeting with ROE 12 TDs on the 9th of July in Newton to discuss it. Where are you in Illinois?
