We have 4 Thomas C2's from 2016-2018 and every one of my drivers complains about the ride quality. They say that the bus is stiff and is jarring when hitting bumps. Are there any corrective measures to take with these buses or are they just the way they are? They have rear air ride suspension and are running on 255/70R22.5 Michelin XZE.

That's the way they came when they were purchased. They were purchased before I started working for the district. But I have yet to see a C2 with any other size tire.

We have some on 10R's and 11R's, they do not ride as nice as other makes in my opinion and I would consider the ride on the "harsh" side. All the C2's we have ride the same.

Thank you all for your input. I did find out that the 255's are the only tire size option for C2's equipped with a wheelchair. At least that is what the dealer has told me.
