i have this o6 ih ce300 with dt pre dpf with allison 1000/2000 series trans its leaking trans fluid out of the hole at the bottom of the i guess it would be bell housing or the adapter plate it came in few weeks ago it was down like 7 quarts so i ASSUMED it was the front pump seal it was dripping badly so pulled trans put new seal filled her up and took for a ride and still have a steady drip coming from the adapter hole could it be the front pump gasket? any ideas?
was your leak coming out the hole on the trans adapter or external on the body of trans... whats interesting is i had it running for about half hour and it didnt leak a drop but if u take it for a ride it has a steady drip once i brought i back in shop

you guys wouldnt have a list of parts i would need when removing the bell housing i have trans out and the seal i put in looks oki dont see any external cracks so i wanna pull off the bell housing and look deeper just wondering if u guys no what gaskets and oring i need to order never had one of these apart
Each bolt has a sealing washer. I'm not sure which o rings I replaced. Looking at the picture in my book, there a a couple of o rings on the front pump.
yeah i hear u but i always have bad luck with parts guy so i like to get part numbers and get pictures but i did call them i just like to try and be ahead when i call so i get the rigth part

I bought my Allison service manuals from my dealer for less than $30. Its a big help.
