on this bluebird driver called in and stated check engine light was on and alarms where going of so i went up there started it up no lights no alarms drove it back to shop no problems i hooked up laptop to it and there was a code 3559 inactive after reading the diagnostic tree my question is has anyone come across this its sayin short to ground are there places n know for a wire rub before i go nuts going threw harness
I would start at the battery compartment. Disconnect the positives on the batteries and then do a continuity test from the positive cables to the chassis, this should give you a starting point.
put a new relay in and it , bottom rh next to fuse box under the dog house. also when you pull it out look in there with flash lights and make sure pins arnt all spread apart. snother issue you can some times tell when the pump actually goes it will leak out plug where main harness goes in if its wet the pump is shot, 5 year warranty remember.
yes, I believe it does, just tried to look back in my notes but I cant find. I finally bought a notebook just for putting in all these codes in so I can track and save some down time on these wonderful electronic/emission disasters that we all have to work on now.
I hope it solved problem for you, pretty said that the relay's we even get now are iffy. Just a heads up also these relay tester that these tool company's sell are not full proof either, we had one that showed the relay was good and it wasn't my guy returned his to snapon. Our snap on guy is good kid he also is a tech he was kinda dumb founded when we showed him.
