Our 2015 BlueBird Propane will not start. It does go into the "start in progress" but acts likes it times out or something and it never engages the starter. Can any one point me in the first direction on it?

We had that happen with our propane also. It sat for awhile and batteries were low enough it would not start.

Odds are it's batteries from what you have found, but a bad ignition switch will also cause this. Buddy of mine has been replacing them a lot lately.

They don't go into the "start in progress" mode with a bad switch. Seems the switches were made to switch power and Bird is switching ground with them. As I understand it when you switch power the contacts are being "cleaned" every time you use the switch. With the ground circuit that isn't the case.

I've witnessed it myself. The message appeared, then after some time it disappeared. Did not happen 100% of the time, but it happened.

Now you have me wondering if he will end up chasing two different problems.

Humm, interesting. Mine have all been like you never even turned the switch. It only happens in temps below 10F

Put new batteries in it. So far no more issues but it has been just a touch warmer.
