Good day all

I have just set up Desa on my laptop and now find it is for ISX engines. Has anybody tried to use it on the ISB engine? Were slowly getting away from the maxxforce and changing over to the ISB 6.7 and are running into lots of aftertreatment issues and was hoping this would help shorten the diagnosis time on them.

Your best bet is INSITE or JPRO sir these programs work the best for Cummins ( and JPRO will hook to all components in a vehicle, abs, engine, transmission, BHM, CHM)
JPRO fro Cummins will do injectors, dpf resets , regens, def tests

We have them both but DESA says it does a complete analysis of the after treatment system. I was looking for sort of health check for the system to catch problems before they turn into service calls

I just ran into the same problem. I'm glad I found this post here. We talked with our Cummins rep. and he did confirm that DESA is just for the ISX engines. Hopefully they will make this compatible with ISB in the near future.
