all of these images take so long and fill up this forum, why dont you use none of them or stick to your older one? There should be a size limit or something

Ok, so I see I've touched a nerve with my new sig.. First off, I meant for this to be a no-reply thread (I was just testing my new sig, and didn't need replies).
Second, the image sizes are actually smaller in kilobytes than the 3M traffic signal signature I had. And they're quicker to load as well. (On my end, anyways). The 3M one was too big and cumbersome in the end, and began to look awkward. (Yes, I still collect them, but I felt it was time for change).
Third, the images aren't hoted on SBF's servers, they're hosted at VillagePhotos, so they technically don't take up forum space. And they don't increase the loading times for SBF either, since they're not hosted by SBF.
Fourth, I see images being used as signatures that are considerably larger in file size than the GTCA and "REBUILD" icon I have, and yet I'mnot complaining about them. And yes, there is a limit. I had to try 8 times to get that sig to work, because I went over the limit for how large a signature can be. Try #1 was too large, cumbersome, and yes, did take up space. Try #2 was awkward looking, and try #3 I feel is the best, smallest, and takes up minimal page space.
Besides, having images as signatures as I do is a great way to advertise my Gillig website, and also to help promote a cause I firmly believe in (Which is to rebuild the World Trade Center as it was, and thankfully I'm not alone by a longshot there). Also, images in forum signatures are not only known to this forum, but they're everywhere! Not just SBF, but almost every message board has a couple images in a forum signature! And you should see some of them! Some of the photos I've seen are full-page images for forum sigs!
My apologies if I rubbed you the wrong way, but the forum sig I have is staying. At least for a while.

Well since we are testing signatures, I'll give my new one a try. It's not actually new I had it about a year ago, I just like to rotate them every now and then.
